Waterloo Meadows

About this park

A fantastic urban park situated alongside the River Kennet and within half a mile of Reading town centre. The park contains a wide variety of facilities and landscapes featuring long grass, thickets, brambles and copses of trees. The river is lined with willows and alder trees. From the entrance in Elgar Road there is a small car park, children's centre and play facilities. The park stretches to the south incorporating river banks, meadows and woodland, all reached via a well surfaced path.
