Connector URL
Add it to Claude
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Name it BringThe.dog and paste the connector URL.
- Select Connect, then sign in or continue as a guest.
Custom connectors work on every Claude plan, including free. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector for everyone first.

Custom apps depend on your ChatGPT plan, and OpenAI moves these settings from time to time. If you can’t find them, OpenAI’s help pages have the current steps.

Things to ask
- Find a dog-friendly pub near Keswick where dogs can come inside.
- We're two adults and a big Labrador. Where could we stay in the Peak District?
- Recommend a café in Bath that suits our two terriers.

Questions
- What is the welcome scale?
- Every place is graded on how warmly it welcomes dogs: Tail-Wagger, Welcome, Tolerated or Restricted. The connector gives your assistant the grade and the notes behind it, so it doesn't have to guess from a dogs-allowed tick box.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Continue as a guest to search and look places up. Join with your email or Google to get recommendations for your own dogs, suggest places and leave reviews.
- Does my assistant see my sign-in details?
- No. You sign in on bringthe.dog itself, and your assistant only gets permission to use the connector. As a member, it can read the dogs on your account and your saved preferences so it can tailor its picks.
- Are my suggestions and reviews published straight away?
- No. Our editors check every suggestion and review first, and they appear on the site once approved.
- How do I disconnect?
- Remove BringThe.dog from the connectors or apps list in your assistant's settings.
