About this park
The land we now know as Maidenhead and Cookham Commons once belonged to the Royal Manor, but these commons have always been at the centre of village life. Today they offer footpaths through woodland, chalk downland and marshes dotted with orchids and hay meadows buzzing with insects in summer.
